Well, it didn't go as well as we would have liked it to go. The other teams were made up of all-stars while we were just a team that has played together for a couple of months. I am proud of the boys though because even though they were outmatched they played hard AND had fun and a great experience. Most pitchers were throwing in the mid to upper 80's some touching 90. One of the teams coaches from the south was heard telling another coach that the team's budget was more than $2ooK !!
We were still trying to come up with enough money for the kids to stay at the hotel Monday night.

Anyway, the boys enjoyed themselves and should be proud of the way they hung in there against some very good opponents.

Congratulations to the team from Houston for winning the championship over the team from Taiwan.

Apparently Pony League is going the way of Little League.

These are not "all star" teams made up at the end of the regular season.

Congratulations to your group for doing it the right way and still making it as far as you did.
