Hey I seem to be having a hard time recognizing that a pitch is inside and in turn that is causing me to be late on an inside and I'm getting sawed off at the hands. Does anybody know how to practice seeing the pitch and recognizing where on the plate it is? Also does anybody know how to practice turning on a pitch to drive it down the line?

Funny hotcorner, I used to be an assistant at your school some years back. We always worked drills to keep the hands in and stay inside the baseball. You can also work location drills in the cage and in the pen. Did AJ graduate from your school or move on. If you know him, he could put you in touch with his fall coaches. Also try Fl Baseball Guy. He is on this site also. Good luck.
