I heard on the radio today that the MLB vote today was 15 for and 15 against, so there won't be any changes in the near future.
And I think you are correct ... it would definitely take some of the fun out of all the "what if" arguments the next day.

Me and Dad04 resolved that on friendly terms(although there was another photo on MLB with a better angle!)
I just couldn't imagine replay overturning a stolen base safe/out call....

I think the umpires in the ALCS handled it as it should always be handled -- have the conference and try to get it right. Way too many umpires are of the impression that only their decision counts, as I was saying to Denkinger only the other day.

I think that Chill is right. There would be nothing to argue about at the water cooler.
We had this discussion one night with our neighbor and the consensus was that so many people see bb as boring, so for the ones who do not understand how these calls could change teh game of baseball we have to leave in some "mystic" to the game.

I vote no replay. The human element of the game is what makes baseball exciting to me.
