Perhaps the word is "different"

I remember the short time he spent with the Phils - "different" doesn't even begin to describe him. I can see Cox now!! Good Grief!! Although with the track record of the Braves, ther's got to be something there - just seems liek no one else sees it !!

In his playing days Roger had the reputation of being a bit unusual. He has always been a bit of a free spirit. Many of the younger set may remember Roger from the MTV Rock/Jock Softball games where he pitched wearing a Braided corn row wig and a Kilt........

With the youth movement on the Braves, it sounds like he'll fit right in and help keep those young arms "loose" in more ways than one.

At least it should be a lot of fun around the clubhouse.

Mazzone left to make a lot more money and be with his longtime friend Sam Perlozzo.I am surprised that the Braves didn't give him a raise to keep him.

no doubt this is a questionable move to let the very best pitching coach in the majors leave your organization..

And perhaps Mazzone knows something we don't know--like Bobby Cox retiring soon

Not to mention that the money is much better
