When my son got his first start on the mound this season (home game), the announcer put on "Bad to the Bone" by George Thorogood & The Destroyers as he took the hill for his pre-game warmup. Definitely set the tone for the game ... he gave up only two hits and 1ER in five IP.

Particularly appropriate given our last name. His teammates thought it was great.

You asked for opinions so here it goes...how about none? It's only my opinion, but I think it's a distraction and annoyance. I had my fill of it on road games this spring season, I couldn't wait till we played at home in the peace and quiet of the "old way", where the only music was that of the game itself.

I love the music played at our games.
We have such a diverse group of kids and each player gets to choose their song. It ranges from Rock, to Country and even Latin.
The boys really get pumped, especially the pitcher during their warm ups...
