Any experience with, or opinions on, Iona College and its baseball program? This one just came out of the proverbial left field yesterday.

Kids seem to like the baseball program - my son has played with many of them - and a few do get drafted. On major drawback is that they have no field of their own. They use Salesian High School field which is less than exciting (I live a few miles from it and my son has played on it both in college and during summer leagues) - no lights - no stands - not great grass - really not a great field on which to play. Some of their pitchers from last year were drafted and an excellent catcher from two years ago is doing well in A ball. The team is pretty local as well.
