Look at Vandy who went 12-0 until they ran into Baylor but they will recover from a non conference beating. Every team has to get tuned up before they start conference play and Auburn will be a big starting test for the Vols.

I Hope that Josh Bell, Eli Iorg and Cal Iorg continue to tear it up this year in the SEC. If my buddy Luke Hochovar gets a few runs and has some defense behind him he will be tuff to beat this year. The Vols have have some good pitching and we will have to see what happens in the SEC since every year is a new beginning for a championship. You never know who will step up and become that leader the team needs.

Others from Tennessee:
Vandy lost a great left handed pitcher when Ryan Mullins was dismissed from the team. Frown

Jeremy Slayden from Murfreesboro Okland went 11-14 at Georgia Tech last week with 4 homers. Bruce Sprawl broke his finger and will miss three weeks with LSU Tigers.

Lee University (23-7) is off to a great start this year and keep running up the wins with new players like Chad Farr, pitcher Jon Kirby (5-1) and pitcher BJ Church(5-0). applaude

Cumberland University is off to a 15-6 start this season under coach Woody Hunt.

ETSU is off to a good start with a (11-2) record. Pitcher Jeremy Hall(3-0),Chuck Hargis .385, Stephen Douglas .375, Nick Crowe .388 and Caleb Moore .355 are helping to lead the hitting attack. clap
