Welcome to the site. I am from a little north of your border in myself (Iowa). My son played in the KC area for a few tournaments years ago and looked at a few of your colleges. But of course their favorite part of KC is the water park.

I'm from Missouri, Kansas City area

We play in the KC Barnstormers tourney at the end of the season and there are a few St. Louis teams in our own tourneys this year.

i'm from missouri...i played for the Diamond Kings this summer...we played the Bullets at the KC Barnstormers World Series. Got shelled. You guys had a nice team SI.

yes you did, spread us that game. i pitched 3 innings in relief. i was the lefty that threw slow enough you couldnt quite time well enough to kill, haha. i think i gave up like 2 runs in 3 innings...not bad considering how good your team was.

It seems like the label Midwest applies to an area a bit north and east of Kansas City on this website. We live in Overland Park, KS. I like to think we're in the Midwest!

Yes, I am from Mid-MO, a little town called California. My sons are catchers (the best position ever).

We live in Columbia; play summer and fall ball on a team based in KC.

We are in KC North of the River. I have twin boys 12U this year.

We are another KC baseball alumni, son plays on a competitive 12U team based out of the Northland.

I coach a 12U team for an academy here in East KC. Also, have 2 "older boys" that play. One at the college level and one at the 14U Major level. The eldest is a stray we took in after he had TJ. We helped him rehab and now he is a big part of the family. We're obsessed with baseball here and building strong healthy arms.

Season starts in 6 weeks and it's snowing outside.

We lived in KC from 1991-2003,in Johnson Co (Fairway), but the best teams were north of the river, so our son played with KC North teams from age 12.

Boy,..you weren't kidding! Those Sluggeres are pretty high speed. We missed their try-outs this year,..but we're gonna be all over it come this September! Thanks soooo much for the heads up trojan- skipper! Felt like I was looking for a needle in a hay stack,...being from a super small town. What would I do without this message board??? THANK YOU!!!
