Also, even though he's already signed in, if he wants to go and read his blog postings or just the general postings from other athletes it takes him to a page that tells him he needs to sign in. It never lets him actually do what he wants. It's a repetitive cycle with telling him to sign in (even though he's already signed in) and never lets him read the darn blogs.

I don't know. It seemed like a decent platform at one point but to me it seems like a glorified ad networking site now. You can't really do anything that you want to do. Is it just me or do others find that platform to be a complete waste of time and money?

We were able to add a blog post with the link but never could actually make it to the section to where you can read it along with other athletes postings. It just gave us a revolving sign in page. Again, he was already signed in. I tried it but I couldn't do it either. I don't really have time to fiddle with it. Is it something that others are experiencing though? I suppose that's the reason I'm asking here. I recall beRecruited mentioned before with some of their glitches. It's a really good video that demonstrates how he runs bases and so it's a bit annoying that it cannot be shared on a site where, supposedly, this is the kind of thing they offer for these thletes. Well...for a price. You know?

I can't answer your question about BeRecruited and not sure why you posted a link to the video here that you were trying to post there.

But since you did, I'll throw out a few observations...

No coach or recruiter will want to watch over 12 minutes of baserunning, or anything else for that matter.  When you figure out where you want to post, put up a condensed version.  I can tell you are very proud of him and you should be.  Just keep the lengthy montages for yourself and use shorter versions for recruiting purposes.

Junior is obviously very quick and uses it well with aggressive running and good situational awareness.  You always want to maximize your strengths.  You may balk at this but he can actually be quite a bit better.  On true steals, his first step is bad.  His head and upper body are too upright.  First few steps should be head down and full body lean.  Also, he swings his arms out quite wide during his stride.  A few lessons with a good track coach will help sharpen his form and allow him to be even quicker.

Yeah, he's got some things to tinker with. I know. I took the link out if it was a big deal. It was just on my mind at the moment. Really, I'm just kind of perplexed with the beRecruited thing. It should just work is all and was curious if it was something of a similar issue with others who may use that platform.

I know that it was a bit long but It's part of a larger one though that will be sent as a final video.

Thanks though. We always appreciate a good once over from others who are honest with what they see.
