Players don't learn in group lessons......You are asking them to change while performing against their peers.....They need to feel comfortable to do this.....

Showcases are about performing to the player's perspective.........Showing what they can do......And, you think they are learning new stuff?......It ain't happening... no

That's the biggest pile of you know what I've heard in a long time. How do you know this? Were you not able to learn in a group before and think everyone's like you? Give me some real answers, not something you thought of this week.
You can't teach efficient body movement in a week, or two.......And, hitting is about efficient body movement......Basic stuff, TRhit.....Very basic...... buba

Players know there's nothing you can teach them in a week or two that will improve a swing they have spent years developing......They're not that gullible, I assure you..... no

Then Said player or Player's won't last very long at the next Level.
If there not Listening to what the Instructor is trying to teach, then they will never make it.
Tweaking, Not whole sale Changing of one's Swing. But Tweaking it Slightly can make a world of Difference.

Same goes for Pitching, Slight Tweaking. the EH

I truly believe that you do not know as much about hitting as you want us to believe

I think you will fing many MLB players who are willing to thank some coach(s) who along the way helped them to get to the bigs

The Ortmeier boy is a prime example-- are you going to tell me he learned nothing from a full spring training with Barry Bonds

Wake up and smell the coffee Mr Sunshine!!!
Over the years Cal Ripken Jr. has changed his batting stance many time's.
Just Tweaking it here and there.
Whatever made him feel more comfortable.
I believe that's what make's a good hitter, Does He feel comfortable, Balanced, Able to pick-up the ball out of the Pitcher's Hand.
Without all three of those thing's a batter will not hit consistently. the EH
Again, we all must try to get along. The slash and burn attack for the sake of attacking accomplishes absolutely nothing. As I have said till I am BlueDoged in theH Old Pitcheronie, TRheat this forum as a place where a HIGH SCHOOL PLAYER can learn what will help him become a better hitter. If you have nothing to add other than attend a showcase and learn how to hit, then please shut up. Most high school players are told so many wrong things by so many "coaches" as they come up that, if they stay around long enough to figure it out, they will KNOW they must teach themselves.

What should be happening here on this forum is help for those upcoming students of hitting that are trying to learn more. Or, more to the point of this particular post, some assistance for a man that is trying to help young female hitters get better. That we either are not or cannot accomplish this relatively simple task should be a sad commentary for us all.

High School Hitters amd larrythompson. If you are still around after reading the above snipping and back biting, the only thing everyone has agreed on after three pages of posts is that Jon Doyle knows what he is talking about regarding balance when he made the statement that is in the 9th post on page 2. That post also provides access to Coach Doyles website. Check it out. You will probably find something of value to you. But remember, to become a better hitter you have to learn what is most effective for you. Experiment, make adjustments and monitor your progress. There is no right answer no matter how many claim they have it.

To all others. Back to the carnage. America loves a good fight: initially at least.

Read the Dogs posts-- how did Barry Bonds get into a showcase dugout-- I used an example from spring training and all of a sudden Bonds is in a showcase dugout--

The DOG has a great method--dont answer--ask more questions in an attempt to confuse the posters

The man has never given anyone an inkling as to his coaching/instructional abilities other than to regurgitate postings from some "GURU"-- he doesnt even answer questions--he answers with a question--

At least I can speak from my experiences and you and others can take what you want from them but at least you all know I am coming from !!!

Perhaps the best thing is for me not to use my experience and cease trying to give advice--- it will be bone less opinion for people to try and digest-- listen to those like DOG who give you no inkling as to their credibility--apparently that is what the internet is all about-- whomever says anything/posts anything regardless of what you know of the supposed background of the poster it is taken as gospel-- but then again in this day of false resumes I guess it is ok

I still like the boat I am in-- based on experience--not saying it is the best but it has worked--you can all select your means of learning-- I grtew up learning from those who were experienced, many of them, and drew from each what I needed to help myself

In your mind perhaps you take away nothing but again you answer with a question---have you ever been in the dugout at a showcase?

For that matter have you ever even been to a showcase

I am not saying that you are--- I have coaches in the dugouts --I am not in the dugouts--I have a cadre of excellent n baseball people in the dugout

As I have stated before there are some people around who might, just might, know as much and probably more about the game and how to teach the different aspects that you will ever know

Actually a friend phoned me -they alerted me to the fact that may well be a sham with a very huge ego and even larger "attitude".

DOGGIE you can go hang with your friends, all two of them, and continue with your condescending attitude

I am tired of wasting time debating with you--better things to do--
