they are opening the season January 30, playing at PG's place..lakepoint. I can't wait to see the place.

For those that may be unaware of the school, Mercyhurst is coming off their greatest season in the school's history as they made their first appearance in the D2 college world series last year. Mercyhurst, a private school, is a beautiful campus near the shores of Lake Erie.

Born and raised in Erie, about 3-4 miles from Mercyhurst. Knew that there former coach was the current Pitt Coach (Joe Jordano) who actually lived in a house owned by my uncle. Searched the website and didn't realize the current coach (Spano) was at the helm so long. School usually has a competitive hockey team as well.

Lakepoint will NOT be a disappointment! We need to create a new word for how pretty that place is!
My son's favorite part is that the scoreboard displays how fast the last pitch was. My favorite part are the lights, truly amazing clarity, they may be better than daylight!
