My son injured his shoulder right after his junior year. He was not able to throw most of the summer. Consequently, he did not attend camps, showcases, etc. He did recover in time to play his senior season. He played right field. He hit over .400 in the Concorde District of Northern Virginia and would like to continue playing. Does he still have a chance to play college baseball? If so, what can he do at this point?

Lot's of unknowns, Grades/SAT? Speed? Size? Is the arm ok now?

Has he ever had any idea on where he wants to go? D-I, D-II, JUCO, D-III, NAIA ?

Has he ever written or better yet called a college coach at a school he wants to go to?

If he knows where he wants to go, go to the baseball site on the college's athletic web-site and see if they offer a summer camp, if so, sign up for it , what better way to put yourself face to face with the boss.

Southern Maryland Baseball Summer Camp would be a posibility to get some exposure and you may want to give Al McCormick a PM on here and see if he can help. And finally, if he doesn't mind playing with Narthern'ers call Tom Rizi.
