I'm not about to go and name people or teams, but rumor has it that a prominent player was kicked off a prominent team for underage drinking.

I have heard the same thing but I also will not name any names nor the team of the player.
Guys, remember this formun is not for rumor mongering. If you have any actual facts regarding this subject state them(although I would not see the purpose of that), otherwise, keep this kind of stuff of the forum please!!
I say you just name the player by now because if some player did make a mistake then everyone should know it...remember in Illinois your treated as an adult as 17 years old so just say it

IMO it is no one's business who the individual or individuals are. A mistake was obviously made and the players are paying for it big time. I say just let it go.

Deerfield 10, HP 8.
Michael Glink hit 2 hr's for Deerfield and an injured Jimmy Risi hit a pinch hit HR in the 7th for HP. Nice relief job by Michael Weisberg. HP had a 5-1 lead and couldn't hold it. I think the Deerfield, Stevenson game could be closer than most people believe.

itsrosy, I agree completely. Tomorrow's game between us and Deerfield is going to be a tough one. It's not too common that two conference champions meet in the first round of the playoffs.
Hopperhop, I don't understand, someone said they heard something about someone being kicked off the team and wanted to know if other people had heard the same thing. I had so I varified it. Nobody named names.

The Altoff regional down here has 4 conferences champs in it. The Waterloo Bulldogs (Mississippi Valley Champs) play the Altoff Crusaders (South Seven Champs) tomorrow. The Belleville West Maroons (Southwest Conference Co-champs) play the Freeburg Midgets (Cahokia Conference Co-champs) on Thursday.
