Saw an interesting thing today during son's sectional play-offs. The opposing coach went out to the mound to talk to our pitcher during the game. Did not ask umpire for time, just walked out there. My son's the catcher and was very irritated and walked out to mound to get between his pitcher and the opposing coach. The coach then said something like " Oh, I guess I need to talk to the ump". He told our pitcher his feet were in the wrong place when starting his motion.

What was this about? I've never seen this and the umps didn't do anything.

I think everyone was so shocked and didn't realize what was going on until the catcher went out to the mound. I was surprised the umps didn't say anything to opposing coach. I didn't see our coaches reaction but I know he wasn't out of the duggout arguing. Just when you think you've seen it all.........

thanks for the replies
