My high school team was practicing this week and we were working on mechanics heavily during our drills. One was a separtion drill when you hold your balance point at the leg kick and then stride and hold there too. When I separated my hands and brought my arm back my coach told me to **** my wrist up instead of keeping it on a level plain with my arm. He said that this would generate more whip when i throw my breaking balls resulting in better break and also more velocity to my fastball. Is this true?
