Everyone knows the Cubs are on the move and the next need to be filled is a spot or two onthe pitching staff. The question is, where are they coming from?

It's convenient that Chairman Reinsdorf is ripping those who are spending all the money this year and he won't be following suit. He instead will decide to revert back into his cheap mode and someof his talent will become available. Very good for the Cubs who will likely take Garland and another pitcher from them.

A source close to both teams told me such a discussion was taking place last week and they got sidetracked and made the Cotts deal. The big deal is going to be Pie, Izturis, Wuertz and Dempster for Garland. It may get bigger and include Jacque Jones and Garcia as well.

Isn't it great when our two teams can work together?
