Wow, that was a very unexpected story. Kids who have made some big mistakes and have seen people give up on them...being told by strangers, "You still matter. Someone cares about you."

Faith's coach, players, and fans are all awesome human beings. God bless them all.

Both of the teams from this article, Grapevine Faith and Gainesville State School, are both in our district and I have seen the team from Gainesville State School play several times over the past 13 years. It has always been sad to me to see just 1 or 2 fans in our "away" bleachers for this game. The players from Gainesville appear to be very well mannered and play the game very hard. I am glad that Grapevine Faith honored them in this way.
