Extremely proud to say my 2016 son has committed to play baseball at Furman University, South Carolina NCAA D-1 Southern Conference. The recruiting train was one hell of a ride and I need to thank the people here that helped me with all of it. Thanks!

Curious... as a Southeasterner whose son is open to the idea of a West Coast school. How did yours get on the radar of a Southeast school being from West Coast. No need for details, but did he come east and attend a showcase camp? Does Furman send coaches West to recruit?
Mine had a conversation recently with a San Diego D-1 who said they do not get to PG-Atlanta, or East for that matter. RC/PC said they normally don't recruit east of Arizona.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. And Congrats to your Paladin!!!

Yep, The new baseball complex building is very nice. Indoor cages/mounds,Player lounge, Locker rooms, Coaches offices.
