The Madison Wi weather for this evening.....

Colder...breezy. Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of snow showers. Lows in the mid 20s. West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to around 40 mph.

At least we won't get the 6-9 inches of snow a northern portion of the State is expecting.

Us northerners had better not hear any weather complaints from you thong wearing Southerners and left coasters Cool for the next 4 months as they will fall on frost bit ears.

Here's some 'southern love'.....from 'southern Korea! Highs in upper 70s, perfect at night in the mid-50s.

I understand it's getting real 'hot' just a little further up north. Hey, who knows -- may end up back in the States any day now if that numbskull keeps messing around with his toys.

My dad just wrote from Michigan and said "Am ready for the first snow," and I couldn't believe it. Whatever happened to "Indian Summer"??

Mid to high 70's this am (wore a sweater), high 80's this am, unusually warm for this time of year.
They sell down comforters here, more for looks than anything, and hard to find wool blankets this time of year.
MN-Mom told me she was expecting SNOW! I feel bad for you all up there. You're welcome to the sunshine state anytime! Cool

RZI,...does the ol' saying " misery loves company " still make sense? If so, I feeeel your pain!

Supposed to get in the low 30's tonight and freeze here. There goes the summer flowers and southern porch ferns.
Poof,...gone.

Son has a Varsity HS football game tomorrow night and outdoor baseball showcase the weekend after. Who knows,..we could have snow by then! ( Perhaps they will snow shovel the baselines???) Can just imagine his 60 run time in snowboots! HA!

Hmmm,..wonder if they permit ear muffs? ( in color coordinating baseball uniform colors of course!! ) Big Grin

Got plenty of wool blankets here to pass on up to ya,..( but wouldn't ya prefer fleece? Wool is soo itchy! ha! ) and buckets of ice-melt if ya need some!

Looks like the yellow brick road is gonna get slippery tonight! Burrrrrrrr

I'm with you deldad,
If country's want a nuke so bad give one of are's.

Put it in a Glass case drop it right in there Town square.
They could build a shrine around it, Pray to it.
Just don't touch it.
There's a timer on it, and when you do good and help the world be a better place. You get time added to your timer.
If you do wrong you get time taken away.
Your choice? EH
MN-Mom,...I'm sure you have plenty,..but sending you my fleece blanket anyways! Nothing like the first snow dusting! Everything outside gets still & quiet, doesn't it?

*** Hot cocoa for all who are cold ! ***

Burrrrrr

Ok and for those of you still basking in the balmy sunshine,..( do I look pea green?? Cause I am! ) have an extra pina colada for me, would ya? Big Grin
