Okay ladies it is that time of year again, and I need your help with xmas presents.

The daughter, 13 years old, has all the "stuff" pearls, diamond earrings, xbox, etc......and last year you wonderful ladies came up with father/daughter day. As you all know we had a wonderful day of shopping, visiting, and enjoying each other's company. Now, this year we must decide on another. Thoughts and recommendations?

Secondly, we have a new one this year! My son's girlfriend! Sophomore in college, very down to earth young lady, who likes to be simple (probably a bad choice of words, but I hope you know what I am trying to say) Plays tennis in college and dresses like an athlete everytime I see her. Don't know what she likes, and don't want to go off the deep end, but trying to help my son settle on a gift. I was think some type of small jewelry, necklace and charm or something, but not real sure. Watching them together, I get the feeling that that it could be a special relationship and he told me that he really likes her and wants to get her something nice!

I would really appreciate your help and advice! I have came here before and you all helped more than you know, how about one more time until next year!

Not sure about the 13 yr. old (all I have are teen-age boys) but the girlfriend - check out Pandora jewelry. You can find them at the jewelry store. They are "charm" bracelets & necklaces but not the tradional type. They start at about $75 for the sterling bracelet & one charm. The charms run from $25 for sterling all the way up to $400 for gold. My sister & I have started those as we have run out of things to give each other. They have a website you can check out. www.pandora-jewelry.com
Well - for your daughter - how about tickets, ride, dinner and chaparon to a 'concert' oof her choice. At that age they are really developing a music taste and frequently it is different from ours so be prepared. Teenage girls (which she is now) would also love a cell phone. We went the prepaid route as to not have a big bill.

Now sons girlfriend, I don't know what her faith is but my daughter recieved from her boyfriend a beautiful St Christopher/Cheerleader medal for her birthday. He used some line like it would watch over her when he couldn't. These come in lots of designs and price ranges.
