To all of those in the middle of the 08' recruiting ride,.... I just thought perhaps it was time to take a 20 second breather, release the seat belts, and offer CAKE!

Dig in everyone!

Hint: Biggest pieces are the four corners, softest piece smack dab in the middle. Frosting is heaviest along the piping around the edge. ( Good grief, I think I am now even over analyzing the cake! Big Grin )

No napkins needed,...just lick the ol' fingers or use your shirt.
Plastic forks ( if desired, but I don't recommend them ) on table behind ya.

Take big deep breaths,...hold head in place from spinning, use brain fog remover, and devour each and every piece of cake.
Nummy ain't it?

The one who makes the biggest mess, gets a bonus brownie!!

DING-DING-DIIIIIIIIIIIING.

Ut-oh,...times up,....recess is over and the bell is ringing.

Best of luck everyone!!!

*Footnote:
I have been told the sanity will return,..may take a few months,..but it should indeed, come back to us.

I hope.

Yipppeeee, cake... I want a corner - that way I can blame the dizziness on my sugar buzz...

Ordinarily, I love a good roller coaster ride. I hang on really tight and scream my fool head off, but they usually only last for about a minute. Then I get off, eat something bad for me, let it settle briefly, and get on another one. This one long recruiting ride is killing me. Not to mention adding way too much gray to my usually red hair. Thank God you folks are on this ride, too. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't share the insanity.

I don't like roller coasters, I like my feet on the ground. I do like cake though and recess . I just baked six dozen brownies for other son's football team, though, so sweet tooth is satisfied. You know next fall when these boys leave we will all be sad they are gone, no matter how insane this whole process is. Congrats to any of you that will sign early - you can enjoy the rest of this year with calm and peace of mind!! I asked my son how he was ever going to decide and he made a motion like he was flipping a coin - oh brother!!
