This morning's RTD reports that Jake Lowery, coming off a stellar season at JMU, has won the Johnny Bench Award as college baseball's top catcher. Wow! Congratulations to Jake!

How about all our local boys making good? Think about this: Before Cosby opened, Jake was at Midlothian High School. In spring 2005, for $5 you could go see a game where Jake Lowery caught for Tyler Wilson!

Just goes to show, tomorrow's national stars are right here in your own backyard today! Support your local HS team!
