Great Bridge certainly put some runs up today. I assume they have some good pitching left- they got 5 out of their starter so should have #2 guy fresh. Beal was at 48 pitches at the end of 2 so I assume he went maybe 4?
Did south county have to use any pitching they were countinh on for tomorrow? I followed the SC/JR game online...haven't seen the line score but I know there were TONs of walks by both teams...did anyone who saw it feel umpire was squeezing the strike zone? Last year it seemed very small.
Don't know about GB being a favorite but they are probably playing the best ball they have all year.

They are getting hitting up and down the lineup, playing clean defense and good enough pitching.

I'll bet this one turns on somebody's 3rd or 4th pitcher tossing 2-3 innings of solid baseball. I expect at least 20 runs and it wouldn't surprise me for closer to 30 runs to be scored between these two. Of course that means it will be 2-1. Cool
Interesting article about Frazier's arm in the post. If I were coaching against SC I would find a 75 mph pitcher with good command of his off speeds and pitch them all backwards. This was done by Oakton five years ago in the state semis against a good fastball hitting team with winning results. I as a baseball fan would hope Frazier was healthy and able to pitch. IT would be a shame to go 28-0 and lose the state final without a healthy arm.
