My soon used these for a year. He liked them. He liked the webbing between the finger and thumb. In my observation, it acted similar to what a Pro Hitter would do. If you order them, definitely get the top model. When he used them it was the 2.0 and 1.0 models available. There was definitely a quality difference between the two. He hasn't tried the new pro model since he found another batting glove company which he likes better, and better on my wallet.

ProSway Gloves. The padded glove version have been beasts for my son. He is very hard on gloves. He would usually get a new pair of gloves every 2 months or so. The ProSway padded glove lasted him about 8 months. From what I can tell from picking them off the garage floor, they are made from a different material than traditional batting gloves. They often run discounts. We grabbed three pairs for half price this past big sale they had. So we should be set for the year.

I use them and so does my youngest son.  I got them free in a promotion and gave them a try, the web really works helping keep the bat toward your fingers, so like it for my youngest to help train him to keep the bat out of the palm.  Plus he kept losing his prohitter, so this works great for him.  You still have to use it right, as you can bypass the web by forcing it flat. My oldest son doesn't like them.  They are soft so you go through them. My older son would rip through a pair in about half a travel season, but he hangs his hand over the knob.

I got a season out of them in my old man wood bat league but that's like 35-40 AB a season.

I think if you don't have a problem holding the bat correctly, there is no real advantage to them.  I look at them solely as an in-game training tool but if you find a glove you like, a pro-hitter will do the same thing.
