JC classes while in HS

Maybe a silly question but is there any eligibility risk in taking a college course at a JC for HS credit?

Follow on question what about taking a college baseball course? (over the summer)

Son will take a couple of evening courses at a local JC next year and summer to get some HS credits out of the way, in addition the HS coach has arranged for a few of the Varsity players to take the summer college baseball course.

In our district you need 4 HS classes on campus to be elegible to play a sport. After attending a couple of junior days the HC encouraged his recruits to take as many transferable JC courses as possible. The boy will take one this summer and next, and one JC course each semester next year. If he's taking a course at a JC. double check to see if it will transfer to a State or UC

The JC courses (appropriate ones) will be credited as college courses in our state universities and colleges, I was concerned about taking a baseball class and if this might negatively impact his eligibility. I would think it would not but just want to check just to make sure.
