Jim Beck

Jim was also very active with the Fairfax Nationals, part of the Clark Griffith League. He will indeed be sorely missed and our thoughts are with all of his family both immediate and extended.

Thank you both for saying the kind words about Jim. I've never known anyone to wear so many hats in baseball -- as a player in the men's league and as a coach for Little League, HS, Legion and the Nationals. Jim Beck tried so hard at a struggling high school to introduce inexperienced players to the game. He wanted everyone to have an opportunity to spend time on a ballfield. What a guy...
