One of my original partners with PG was Bruce Kimm. Bruce worked many years with Jim Leyland, including the Pirate years and the Championship Marlins team. Bruce actually became the interim manager for the Cubs several years ago. As a player he was most known as Mark "TheBird" Fydrich's personal catcher. He was also on the White Sox team that had the ugliest uniforms (with shorts) in history. I've never heard Bruce speak higher of any baseball man than Jim Leyland.
