2016 went last December to hitting cap in Dec. All levels there, boys split into groups of 6 or so with a coach or player at each station. Rotated through about 8 stations. After lunch groups were videotaped in cage and then taken into film room to break it down. 2016 was worn out and film critique was blunt but not ugly. Some of the players(2013's) had obviously never been told that if you don't change something your career is almost over. Spanky is a great guy and it is a great value camp. $100? I would definitely recommend it as camp for 16's & 17's. They do pitcher/catchers n separate day.A good point made in the Q & A. " We don't always wear our gear when scouting a game"
thanks for the detailed info on their camps. i likely will take my 2015 catcher there for their december camp.
my kid went to the hitting camp a couple of years ago and it was outstanding. the hitting coach/recruiter (I forget his name) left JMU soon after the camp, but it was just like what runitout says about the one last year. compared to a couple of others my kid attended, this one was by far the best.
