Any scoop on Johns Hopkins. They seem to be a perennial D3 "power".

I noticed they had a recruiting class for this year of 17 players, but only a handful are shown on their roster. I was told they have a JV team, which may be where some of the guys are. JV seems pretty rare these days. My son was invited to play on the JV team of one of the Ivies. Hadn't heard of this. Is this prevelant on the East coast, don't hear about any JV teams out west any more.

So I guess that's two topics Wink any scoop on JHU and/or on the JV "thing" in general. Thanks.

Johns Hopkikns will be strong again this year--they are # 6 I believe in the pre season poll.

There incoming frosh ('03/04) this year are quite strong--we are fortunate and proud to have had number of players on their roster play for us-- JH is a great school and has a great baseball program. Coach Babb is one of the fine gentlemen in the college coaching ranks

JV teams is something relatively new on the East Coast but I am hearing more and more about them all the time.. I think its a great idea if it gets younger players playing instead of possibly losing them from a program.
