It was reported in the Nashville City Paper that 2B Warner Jones (Lil Omaha) will not play his final season for Vanderbilt. Something appears to be wrong with this, does anyone know what is going on?

I thought it was due lingering effects from his injury that slowed him last year, but I'm just going on memory from reading past stories.

My understanding is that he was going to be fine in November or December. It would cause him to miss the Fall workouts but how many players have missed Fall workouts before and still had a great season? Let's remember that we are talking about both a Freshmen All-American & 2005 Pre-Season All-American. I hope that everything is ok but my gut tells me that there is more to this story than was reported in the paper.
