hooray!!!!Not because I like him,or respect him, because I want to see him humiliate himself
So Im going to give it 3 days before he tests positive

Feel sorry for the guy...What a talented athlete he was!
Another example of a guy who had one skill, i.e., baseball, and then he doesn't know what to do with himself when those skills diminish.
Know all about the steroid stuff but don't want to go there.
Wasn't he the first 40-40 guy?
What a shame, Jose!
Next thing we'll see is Jose riding elephants in a circus...What a shame!

I'm so excited = not
one of the surf dogs is from a few towns over.he pitches for them.in two years he played with rickey henderson now canseco.that is pretty cool.
It is cool. It can be exciting and humbling at the same time.
As a kid, I recall playing against a guy named Duke Carmel.
Figuring he was a washed up ballplayer, I relaxed in right field while he batted expecting him to strike out. He then hit what was the longest shot to left field I had ever seen while on a field.
I was so happy to be a right fielder that day.

I believe Jose was the first "Double" 40-40 guy.

O.K. - SO Canseco cheats using steroids (sucks), then exposes the whole mess in a book naming names (sucks worse in many ways); all of which prompt congress and finally MLB to address the issue (which doesn't suck); some behavioral changes occur for players and MLB (again, good thing).
I say go for it, Jose.

The guy has to make you wonder--- of course he has a "tell all" movie in the works and two more books coming---great speech about MLB--the Mafia--you must be kidding
In 4 AB"S he had one foul ball and for $2500 a month ---the man is an absolute joke

I just can't get the visual of that fly ball bouncing off his head and into the stands out of my brain. Can anyone tell me why that wasn't scored a four-base error? I heard a conversation on the radio the other day to that effect.
It takes alot to try and come back, especially with his history. I wish him luck.
PopTime-Because there are bad official scorers in every league at every level of baseball-saw a lot of it
in the SEC this year. I agree with you on that one. No way a ball that should have been caught should ever be ruled a homerun. If Conseco is not there at all it may have been a double at best.

He was so juiced his head was square, it took a clean bounce over. Most people, theres an angle and the ball won't go up and way over.
haha I saw him strike out I think it was 3 or 4 times and get hit by a pitch. wow
That funny home run hit Jose in the right spot.
Nothing but rock and juice up there.
LOL

that was the greatest feat of strength,or the lights are on and know ones home.maybe both. if i even bump my head i grab it,never mind a hard ball traveling downward hitting you square in the mellon.and he never grabed his head!!!that still amazes me.
I don't think he ever knew it hit him
The only comeback evidenced in the highlights was Canseco's tirade against MLB, espousing his conspiracy theory.
