In the 16th District Tourney, the (JR) Post 21 Winchester team needs just win one of two games today to advance to the state tourney.

The (JR) Post 290 Stafford Patriots are advancing to the (JR) legion state tourney in Richmond next week.

12pm game ... The Patriots were down 4 to 1 and tied it and went on to win it in 9 innings 5 to 4. The 3:30pm IF game, Leake held Post 21's bats in check as they won 4 to 1.

The Patriots forced the IF game and the Patriots Ryan Leake was tourney MVP.
