I noticed that most Juco's have few out of state players on their rosters.
Is waiving the out of state fees considered scholarship money? The D1 rosters are national, if not international players.

Out of state tuition/fees is roughly 3 times greater than in state...I dont know if they call in scholarship money but in my opinion it is a significant amount of cash.
During our JUCO recruiting experience I found that most of the out of state recruits and money went to pitchers.

our son was offered a 'full' scholarship to an out of state JUCO but we would have had to pay the 'out of state' portion that, when we added it up, was going to be more than what we are paying now for in state tuition, room, and board. just need to find out exactly what their scholly includes
We live in a state that participates in the Western Undergraduate Exchange. And that means that a kid can go to another state that participates in the WUE and the tuition cost is 150% of resident tuition. For us, the extra tuition costs were part of his scholarship.
Texas belongs to some group like that, but right now I can't think of the name or anything close that would jog my memory.
I have, and continue to, gain so much information about each school by perusing each one's website. Sometimes these out of state tuition breaks are listed as institutional scholarships.
