HAve problem, Jr just finished freshman year a D2 school, had great year, was closer, lead team in appearances, saves, an ERA. Had as many strikouts as innings pitched. Is receiving some baseball money, family has recently had finanical hardship and most likely can afford to send him back to D2 school. What options are out there?

He is currently playing in the New England Collegite League.

TrueFan, if his current Div. II school will give him his release, he could transfer to another Div. II program without sitting out a year, as long as he meets the academic requirements for the One-Time Transfer. This might be preferable to going the JUCO route if he can find a Div. II that will cost less due to a higher scholarship offer, or a lower in-state tuition.
