Looking at different JUCO rosters (primarily in California) I can see players who don't come from the immediate area. Does the JUCO system have a way to scholorship these players rooming costs or are the parents primarily funding this?

I think I would have a hard time paying for an apartment along with the food costs when there are several quality local JUCO options. Or is this just part of the 4 year college expense I've been saving for.

No In California there are no scholarships at the JUCO level.Most parents are funding it themselves, or their child taking out a loan.
