We got a few calls on July 1 from the coaches son had already been in contact with (to introduce themselves to us). He didn't get any, he was out playing in a tournament that week.
After that it was pretty quiet. The summer came and went with calls from coaches but in reality the ones that had interest all along were his as well.
I posted this because I didn't want folks to think that no calls was a negative and a lot of calls is a positive.
What it basically comes down to is who offers you a scholarship, not who does or doesn't call.

We were bummed out on July 1st, nary a call...Actually it was just me, the Dad, that was bummed, everyone else was oblivious!
It still worked out okay for my son.
But! Congratulations to all the players that have received calls today and in the days to come!

I have said this before, but in a rearview mirror, July 1 was far less important than I thought it would be or was at the time.
