Good point. This is a place where you have to take advantage, pitch an effective inning, a quality at bat. Make an outstanding play on the field. I agree you do not have to have a hit or be the winning pitcher. How you approach thr hitter sd s pitcher and how you protect the plate is most important.

Does it matter?

Not at all. I wasn't saying it was a bad thing to have so many underclassmen attending. This was my son's first time down there as well.....He's a Junior, 2010 Grad.

I just wanted opinions on how the competition or talent level seemed to those who had been there before.........sorry if I offended you.
No offense just didn't understand your post.

As far as my perception, it has always been an underclassman recruiting event for those wanting to be seen by coaches and an upperclassman event for those still uncommited and for committs who have strong draft potential playing against the best in the country.

I'd like to know thoughts or perspective about playing for a PG team versus playing for a team that has an invite.

I guess where I am going with is that IF you are not playing on a team with an invitation, will you get "looks" on a PG team?

AND, if you go as a guest player on an individual team, do you feel like you get enough playing time/exposure?
First of all many of the PG teams are coached by Pro Scouts--we played the PG Black team and they had a Red Sox and Cardinal scout as their coaches--not too shabby in my book---they also had a number of pitchers throwing 90 plus so there were scouts their to see them as well as our team

Sometimes we fret too much !!!

Good points. I guess there really is something to be gained by all who get an opportunity to attend. Parents too!!! It was amazing to me to see so many scouts and very talented players all at one location.
