Jupiter WWBA World Championships

Indeed, the Orlando Scorpions should be very proud of themselves. They definately were not simply happy to advance to the Championship, they wanted to win it ! The Scorpions jumped on the Braves early scoring 2 runs in the top of the first inning, but the Braves scout team responded immediately scoring two of their own in the bottom of the first. The score would remain 2-2 til the bottom of the 4th when the Braves Scout team scored two more runs to go up 4 to 2. The Scorpions would add another run to make it 4 to 3 but in the end the pitching and defense held off a very talented scropions team. It was a great game to watch ! It was also a great weekend of baseball watching so much talent playing baseball in one location.

I was also at the championship game. I loved the way the Scorpions played, very gritty and tight. Coming in I thought it was a David and Goliath type thing, that the Braves were going to steamroll. The Scorpions gave them a great run and it would have been cool to see them win it. Still, the BRaves had a tough run to get to that point and played flawless baseball throughout and deserved the title. Congrats to both teams.
