Rob, your post sent me to the box score:

Washington  ip er bb so wp bk hbp ibb ab bf fo go
Davis, Tyler W,6-1 7.2 10 23 26

Ten strikeouts and no walks in 7.1 innings...against the highly-ranked Oregon Ducks...WOW!

The win takes his season record to 6-1.

Player  era w-l app-gs cg sho sv ip er bb so 2b 3b hr ab b/avg wp hbp bk sfa sha
Davis, Tyler  1.16 6-1 9-7 0/2 46.2 35 29 165 .212 4

Leading his team to a 9-2 conference record and 26-9-1 overall records, so far this season.

Twenty-nine strikeouts and only 4 walks given up this season.

VERY impressive!

Sorry I missed seeing that yesterday. Thanks, Rob, for calling it to our attention!

Thank you for all the kind words everyone.  Really appreciate them.

Just happy for 'the boy.'  Was a tough year for him last year.  He worked hard and I'm happy for him to have some success this year.

BTW, did anyone see the Ducks unis last night?  I guess younger folks must like them, but to an old f*rt like me, kind of…I dunno...out there?

Tyler is your son? I was at the game last night texting my boss (another Pac-12 pitching coach) and told him that he was absolutely carving up Oregon. He looked absolutely dominating yesterday, and of course he's been great all year.

Congratulations to you and the UW team!
