Read where the young man broke a bone in his left hand swinging the bat.

I'm guessing it's his hamate bone. I'd be curious how they handle it (operate or cast) and if they think he will be back this year.

I imagine they'll operate -- very curious.

That must be frustrating. I noticed he wasn't in the line-up the last few games and was hoping that it wasn't due to injury.

He was injured last year.
