Thanks everyone. Connor was very excited after the game. He was smiling & grinning ear to ear. His teammates were even more excited than he was, and they made some great plays in the field. Connor got mobbed and hoisted up after the game was over. He told us afterwords that nobody was talking to him in the dugout while this was going on. There were a few parents that came up to us to mention it, but my wife and I didn't say a thing about it....funny how baseball people want all the good karma they can get!

We decided at the last minute to go up to Cornell for the Harvard/Dartmouth series knowing the weather was a little iffy......thank God we went! Connor caught the last out on a pop-up back to the pitcher and he gave us the game ball. It was just a great day all around with some great pitching (on both sides) and some timely hitting by the Big Red offense. Dartmouth is a very good team, and very well coached. Connor knows this, which makes this an even sweeter "W".

It will be a game he (and his Mom and Dad) will never forget. Many thanks for your kind words, and thinking about Connor.
