Kent, WVU

WVU - Heavily recruits from your state.. Players are all given a fair shot at earning playing time. Coach VanZant is tough coach but very fair, highly regarded in the coaching ranks, he is currently in Omaha as a member of group of college coaches acting in an advisory capacity for the CWS, he is a graduate of WVU as well.

Indoor facilities are top notch, field is good but not great, due for an upgrade in the next year or two as the football, s****r fields and coliseum will all be completed this season. Fully funded program, a rarity in D1.

Grades are #1 with entire coaching staff and they constantly are pulling grades..

Great school, campus and atmosphere..

My son played at WVU last season but has decided to concentrate on studies only this season.. His roommates are all on the team so please PM me with specific questions.

The coaches at Kent are great. They have new turf field that's awesome and plans to add a locker room and lights. Coach Birkbeck is a great pitching coach from what I hear from the pro scouts.

Reminds me ... Talk about bad timing. He's got to do it just before WVU does the two-year home-and-home with Norfolk State.

But if it has worked out for the best, then that's great. He can always pick on him next year when they go there.
