I'll give you a few. Don't know if he is an ace, but he is REALLY good. He could easily turn the Rangers into playoff contenders next year if you have some half-ways decent guys around him. Led the league in ERA and certainly had more tough luck losses than any pitcher in baseball last year. Cleveland is really going to miss him but cannnot "afford" free agents with those types of price tags. Did the Rangers pay a hefty price? You bet. Did they get one heck of a pitcher? You bet.

That perception of him is out there because he came up at the end of a rotation with Maddux, Glavine and Smoltz.

He had the top 2 or 3 "stuff" in the American League last year. Not sure about the rest of their rotation (I do like Adam Eaton), but at least they are TRYING to put a good rotation out there for those everyday players.

Well, definitely in the American League. Rocket had a nasty 1.87 a whole point lower than Millwood's awesome ERA performance and he only won 13 lol that was painful too. Its just amazing they went to the series last year. just my two lil cents Smile
