Wasn't sure where/how/if to put this, but after 8 years of the journey with you guys on here, it's beginning to wind down. Though not an extensive contributor, I have obtained much knowledge, shared some good and bad moments, and spent lots of time on this site.

Though my kid's freshman year awards were probably a little more exciting at the time, I believe this one has a deeper appreciation for me, as a father.
Thanks for letting me share... Cool

Very, very nice DaddyBo.

Gradutating from West Point is an unbelievable accomplishment.

I think of Thomas L. "Stonewall" Jackson who was not the most gifted of students. What he was, however, was the most determined and perhaps that is what we stand for here at the hsbbweb.

Jackson routinely studied his course materials by firelight until the wee hours of the morning. Many say that the South was broken when Jackson, Lee's right-hand man, was killed by friendly fire. Whatever the circumstance, it gives you goosebumps to think about the legacy that has been established at West Point.
Thanks, gang...Antz, been doing a lot of reflectin these last few months. It has been a wild ride of surpassing expectations...tee ball, travel ball, high school, recruiting, college, and now less than 100 days to commissioning. It is a tremendous feeling when the realization occurs, instead of continuing to inspire your kids to think on and achieve good things, that they have become an inspiration for you.
I like to think that my biggest accomplishment is that I did not do anything to screw it up. Big Grin
I've known Zach since he first arrived on Doubleday Field at West Point.

The one thing I can say that sums up his time there, is that among a school of leaders, Zach has always lead from the front, enjoying the respect, admiration, and friendship of all his teammates. He is universally regarded on that team as a great guy, exceptionally hard worker, and great teammate. Rooting for him has always been easy.

Hooah.
