Read in the Sun-Times this morning that Kris Honel, former 1st round draft choice of the Chicago White Sox in 2001 or 2002, retired yesterday.
The Providence Catholic High School grad had battled arm problems all of his pro career.

Thats a shame to hear that! It seems like it was just yesterday when the Honel's were on here reporting of his progress as well as procedures.

Carm was a year old than Kris, I believe.
