I guess I timed it well. I was in Anaheim on business less than 2 weeks ago and daytime high all three days was low 80s. Delightful. However, I was in Las Vegas 2 weeks before that and it was 108F.
Here in Iowa we are wrapping up our summer HS season. Projected to be 77 and sunny at game time, noon today. You guys should come here!!

Talked with my son today who is playing summer ball in CA. Thankfully they hit the road north day before yesterday and are north of San Fran for 3 days. His temporary home for summer set an all-time record high of 118 yesterday.

Thumbnail, I wish. I just saw one the other day carrying off my cat. Damn I am going to miss that Cat.
Been in the 90's here up until this weekend, with 87% or higher humidity.

Actually PG got it's start in Iowa, they have a facility in Cedar Rapids where they have showcases and use fields around the area for tournaments. Started because with summer baseball, our kids weren't able to do the rotating showcases kids from other states did, so this gave them a chance to showcase too.
My husband farmed many many years ago. My kids, and I, couldn't tell the difference between a soybean and a weed.
