Lack of coverage

Is it just in Alabama where football is the state sport or do other states have trouble attaining information on the major showcases? I mean, what would it take for ESPN to show 30 minutes of the Jupiter Showcase - I am positive there would be a large enough listening audience out there that would make it profitable. Now that my son is out of high school, I don't attend showcases but I would very much like to watch one on the tube.

It's never been done so the are likely NOT to see any wisdom in covering the event, and it's kind of hard to pack 160+ games into a 30 minute show.

They WOULD come if the winning team in each game got to compete in lawnmower races around the field or players could be voted out of the game in the middle of an at-bat by their opponent or some other such drivel.

Would have about 30 viewers, that's why.

We're so close to the sport and to recruiting and that is why we're interested.

Rest of the country...Would rather watch "reality" nonsense with flat-tummied bimbos making fools of themselves because they have NO ATHLETIC ability!

Believe it or not, the Championship game is SUPPOSED to be televised (I believe, that was announced back in the summer for the 18U Nationals ... much delayed, I'm sure). The selected announcers MAY/MAY NOT provide other information about the tournament at that time (don't hold your breath).
