Laconia, NH Area

Laconia NH is at the base of Lake Winnipesaukie, the regions largest lake - there's every type of water activity within 30 minutes depending upon what your looking for. Other towns on the lake to look at would be Meredith, Wolfeboro and Wiers Beach. If you like Mountains, the Belknaps are minutes south, and the White Mt. National forest is only a few hours away - including Mt Washington which you can climb or drive. Plenty of dining from Fine to fast food and everything in between - lobster is plentiful in the summer. Outlet shopping in Tilton and North Conway - Manchester has a AA baseball team (Fisher Cats/Blue Jays) just an hour or so south - have dinner at the hotel and you can watch for free from center field. Hope this is enough to get you started.

We are renting a condo on Lake Winni at Weirs Beach for a week in the middle of July. Definitely looking forward to being up in the lake region and seeing my son play some ball there during this summer.

birdman14, let me know if you would like to see the lake by boat. Also I saw Fordam had a tuff weekend at WCU to open the season

Thanks coachC, I'm definitely up for that! The condo we are renting is supposed to have a dock. We are staying from 7/14 - 7/21.

The Rams are having a bit of a rough patch early on. The boys at WCU sure could hit and at last look were having a nice year. My son had some surgery in early January and is not yet pitching, but hopefully real soon...
