I don't know who is responsible for the upkeep, whether it's the City of Ft. Worth, the Cats or Texas Weslyean, but all three should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for calling that piece of c r a p a baseball field.

No excuses, Keller got whipped good by Grapevine, putting them a precarious situation. If they don't win out, or get some help, the season may soon be over for them.

But, back to the field, I've seen better fields in the back of a farm house.

it's not the only field in that league that was allowed to deteriorate so badly. out in amarillo, for example, the dump the dillas played in got so bad that the high school and college kids refused to play there and the locals refused to come watch any more and the team finally folded [with lots of bills unpaid, btw]. that place was always a dump, but back when the field was kept in decent shape and the toilets flushed it was the most vibrant and best attended team in the league. pray that does not happen at Lagrave. too much history, good ball players, etc., but that's a bad sign.

From the actions of the two coaches and two of the players in that program they should be playing behind a farm house. Some one should ask the A.D. who has control of the baseball program at Keller. When an ump tosses a coach at the beginning of a game he sending a clear message balls and strikes are his call.

Joe, maybe you need to just call up to the AD's office. I'll give you the number if you need it.
Well Joe, maybe you should get your facts straight before you go running off to call the AD....or even posting on the internet.

Fact. Coach Harvey didn't get thrown out of the game at the beginning, but rather towards the end. And why did he get tossed? Because the ump thought he was saying something to him. Well, you know what? Harvey didn't say a word.

The two kids probably deserved to be tossed...and both were punished accordingly by the Coaches.

But, if you showed up for the games, you'd know that.
Kellerdad.....I really don't care one way or the other.....but since I was at the game I thought I would help you get your facts straight......keller's assistant coach was tossed in the top of the second inning and I heard him yelling many comments about balls and strikes....I was setting right there on the Keller side.........you are losing credibility with your'bias' facts.....'protecting' your boys??
