LaSalle?

My son met with Coach Lake last week and came home very impressed with the time he spent giving him a tour, introducing him to pitching coach (ex Toronto BlueJays P)and new coach Smith who saw my son play. He spent a little over an hour with him explaining his philosophies of coaching, what he expects of his players and more importantly the responsibilities of the player and their academics. My son wishes to go there for premed. They assured us that they have three players currently enrolled following the same goals of becoming a doctor. Coack Lake was very approachable and made my son feel very comfortable. My son has now put LaSalle up in his top five schools. He still has visits planned to Duke, Johns Hopkins, Maryland and Rutgers. It is nice that he has come to realize that baseball is only a means to get him into some schools and not a career path.

Son was being recruited by Big East, Ivy and MAAC schools, but signed early with La Salle after visiting campus and meeting w/ coaches.
